The Ralph Lauren wing back Writers Chair designed by Henderson is a wonderfully designed chair that blends seamlessly in a variety of spaces. I personally feel that this chair accommodates an enjoyer that is deep in thought, enjoying a warm cup of coffee in the morning or smoking rich tobacco smoked from a pipe on a warm summer evening.

We have been repairing, restoring and upholstering these chairs since we first began to see them in the late eighties/ early nineties. We are able to offer our clients a wide variety of options from enhancing the look of their well loved chair, to completely replacing the leather to match the specifications of the original leather or a new look for a new space. Some clients want to keep the patina of the leather, but still improve the usability and longevity of the chair, typically our approach in this case is to replace the springs and or foam to improve the support. Additionally we recommend at the very least a good cleaning/conditioning of the leather to remove any soiling and replenish the clear top coat of the leather. For chairs that have excessive wear and tear or dark oils stains with cracks the only long term solution is to replace the leather. We are able to either completely reupholster the leather and or partial leather replacement such as on the arms. We then dial in the color of the new replacement leather to create seamless congruency.
